They are stack in USA and could not fly back home due to coronavirus restrictions.

Earlier reports had shown that he former Nation Head of Kiswahili was knocked by a matatu in Nairobi. He was allegedly being chased by charged mob from Muthurwa market where he had gone to pick up a lorry to ferry construction materials to his rural home.\

According to autopsy that was done, goverment pathologist Johansen Oduor noted that he had fructures in his right jaw, lost two teeth and had a deep cut between his fingers. All these he says are incosistent with the accident claims.

He worked with Nation Media group before he secured a job at Riara University as head of Diplomacy department.

Walibora leaves us with a collection of 40-plus books. One of his recent pieces is a play, Mbaya Wetu, a critical look at society and how we are keen to support people from our own community that we know are evil. As we go into the General Election, it would be a worthwhile read.We should not let Walibora’s memory fade away, and there is talk of establishing a literary award in his name. Rest easy, kaka. You came, you saw, you conquered. he said.
